No today is not Friday but that doesn’t mean you cant dress up a little! I love the rusty-orange colour of this skirt, I think it’s perfect for this time of the year!

I know that just like myself most of you are already back in college, and I hope that you’re having a great time! We all know that September can be an expensive period – new fashion and back to school shopping. I decided to share a few of my September purchases with you and let you know what I’ve been loving at the moment ✌
First off I needed to get a good waterproof jacket and one that would last me more than one season ☔..
Autumn in the West of Ireland is known to always be rainy so I needed to get one with a hood!
I got this beauty in River Island and I must admit that this was a little bit of a splurge, but as one of my good friends once told me “everyone needs a good jacket and it just so happens that good jackets are expensive.” 🙌
While in River Island I also got a chic new bag to carry all my notepads in and a new purse as my other one has started to fall apart due to repeatedly being soaked in alcohol 🙈 .. This bag is perfect for college as it’s so spacious! Lately I’ve been obsessed with the colour grey and so I was glad to see that they had this bag in shades other than the usual black/brown 🙂
After spending most of my money in RI I decided to run to Penneys where I got a stunning oversized grey jumper, the only issue is that you have to hand wash but considering it cost only 14 euro I cant complain! Penneys has really gorgeous pieces in at the moment and I decided to treat myself to an A line denim skirt and a Khaki top( another colour I’m obsessed with!)
And lastly I decided to include this denim jacket I’ve had since last year but have been wearing non stop these past few weeks. The fur is a bit of a DIY as I took it off another jacket but I think it looks fab!
I hope that this college term is a great one for everyone and filled with lots of shopping 😉

Hello everybody 🙂
I am happy to say that I’ve finally finished my exams!!!
The past 2 weeks were a whirlwind filled with cups of coffee at 3am, a few cocktails, chicken fillet rolls, exams, laughter and tears..
I finished my first year in college in Dublin and made some amazing friends that I’ll never forget! But unfortunately I have to transfer to second year in Galway after the summer…
Before I left my cute little apartment I had my last night out with the girls. It was one of my friends 21st (Happy Birthday Jade!) as well and I had the best night ever!

As part of my Design module in college I had to base a photoshoot on a movie. I decided to go with the classic and somewhat ‘safe’ Breakfast At Tiffany’s. I mean, you can never go wrong with a LBD! We also had to up cycle an outfit for the photoshoot which I must say I enjoyed doing more then I expected!
I used my old black dress and stuck with a theme present through the entire movie… Pearls! I sewn on my mams pearl necklace onto the waist, a few pearls onto the side of the dress (which I also tightened) and ripped an old New Look glittery hat and sewn it onto the chest… And Voilà:

I chose to include this orange jacket, as it’s seen a few times throughout the movie. Audrey is rocking it in a few scenes and although it’s not as famous as the LBD I think it’s still quite gorgeous!
I must say that I am very pleased with the results and even though my photographer cancelled and I had to do the photoshoot in my back garden (so glamorous). I think I learned a lot from this photoshoot especially to always have a plan B!
